Terrestrial

A large nocturnal and rupicolous gecko that is widespread and occurs in a number of different habitats. It  may form large colonies in rock outcrops throughout the Karoo region, and can  commensal in farm buildings and outhouses, but rarely common in large urban areas (Branch 1998).
