The Short-legged Agile Grasshopper (Plegmapteroides minutus)is widespread in the west of South Africa. The species occurs in Succulent Karoo in the west of South Africa (Dirsh 1959). It may also occur in Namibia. Its extent of occurrence (EOO) is ca 78,000 km².

The species is not utilised.
