Rationale

The Tshokwane Sand Cricket (Neogryllopsis tshokwane) is only known from its type locality, Tshokwane in Kruger National Park (South Africa). While the type locality of this species is well protected, its complete distribution is unknown. It is also not known, whether any threats to this species may exist within the National Park (e.g. invasive species). Due to the lack of knowledge regarding the population trend, it is assessed as Data Deficient.
