The threat status of the Common Grass Katydid (Tylopsis continua) is Least Concern because it has a widespread distribution, a large extent of occurrence and its geographic range is not expected to be severely fragmented or to experience decline or extreme fluctuations presently or in the foreseeable future.
Distribution
The Common Grass Katydid is widely distributed throughout southern and East Africa. In South Africa, they can be found wherever there is grass, including in road verges.
