Distribution

The Spotted Meadow Katydid is widely distributed throughout Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Australasia. In South Africa, it can be found in lowland grassy habitats from the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo Provinces. It is likely that the species occurs throughout the country, with the exception of arid regions.
