Distribution

Endemic to Namibia and the Northern Cape Province, South Africa. Found from southern and central Namibia to Lekkersing in the southern Richtersveld in South Africa (Branch 1994, Bauer and Branch 2003 [2001], Griffin 2003, Bates et al. 2014). In 2012 a single animal was recorded in the Namakwa National Park (Northern Cape Province), extending the southerly distribution of this species. The extent of occurrence in South Africa is ca. 8,200 km2.
