Has a moderate range within South Africa and Eswatini (Swaziland), but is common and widespread elsewhere.

Distribution

In South Africa, this species occurs from northeastern KwaZulu-Natal Province into the northeastern parts of Mpumalanga and eastern Limpopo. It also occurs in eastern Eswatini (Swaziland), Mozambique and Zimbabwe (Bates et al. 2012). There are a few records north of the Zambezi River, with one unconfirmed record from Tanzania (Rasmussen 1989).
