This species was recently described and there are few recorded localities. Therefore, its distribution is not known, and it is not possible to assess threats to this species. It is therefore considered Data Deficient.
Distribution
This species distribution is not well understood, although there are a few scattered records from southeastern Mpumalanga and adjacent KwaZulu-Natal provinces of South Africa.
There is no information on population trends, and the distribution is not understood making it not possible to infer whether the population is stable.
Threats
Threats to this species are unknown, as there is little information available regarding its' distribution.
Uses and trade
No known trade or utlization.
Conservation
The species distribution is not understood, so an assessment of threats and conservation actions is not possible at present. Further work is needed to understand where this species occurs, and whether there are any threats to its habitat.
