Least Concern (LC)

Rationale (Changed due to Same category and criteria)

This species has a moderately sized distribution (extent of occurrence ca 15,600 km2) with very little habitat transformation within its range. It occurs in a number of protected areas. Therefore, there are no known threats or population declines; hence it is assessed as Least Concern.

Conservation

It is protected within the Richtersveld National Park and may occur in Namaqua National Park and Goegap Nature Reserve (Bauer et al. 2011).
