Distribution

This species is near-endemic to South Africa, occurring from the coastal regions of the central Western Cape Province extending eastward and north into Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, northeastern Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, northern Gauteng, and North-West provinces, as well as Eswatini [Swaziland] (Marais 2004, Bates et al. 2014).
