Fairly widespread (extent of occurrence is more than 85,000 km2) and common with no major threats, hence assessed as Least Concern.

Distribution

Endemic to southern Africa, occurring from the northern half of KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and southern Limpopo provinces, South Africa and in western Eswatini [Swaziland], (Bates et al. 2014). It may also occur in southern Mozambique.
