Has a small extent of occurrence (EOO) of 1,766 km² but there is virtually no loss of habitat extent or quality within its range; hence this species is assessed as Least Concern.

Distribution

Endemic to Little Namaqualand in the western part of the Northern Cape Province, South Africa, however, the distribution may be larger (Bates et al. 2014).
