Least Concern (LC)

Rationale (Changed due to Same category and criteria)

Redeye Barb (Enteromius radiatus) has a wide distribution. It occurs from Uganda in the north to the Incomati System in South Africa in the south, and from Angola in the west to Mozambique in the east. Local threats may affect certain subpopulations, especially in eastern Africa, but no major, widespread threats have been identified. This species is therefore listed as Least Concern nationally in South Africa.
