Listed as Least Concern in view of its wide distribution and presumed large, stable population.

Distribution

This species is known from South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique between 200–1,500 m Asl. It may also occur in Zambia, but possible records have not yet been sequenced.

There may be some localised threats to this species, but overall it is not considered to be threatened.

There are no records of the species being utilized.
