Listed as Least Concern in view of its wide distribution in eastern South Africa, tolerance of a broad range of habitats, and presumed large population.
Distribution
This species occurs along the eastern coastal areas of South Africa, from just south of Port St Johns north to the Mozambique border. It ranges inland up to 1,000 m asl. It has not been recorded from Mozambique, but it might occur there.
