Red List of South African Species

Alternatively, Explore species
Least Concern (LC)

Rationale (Changed due to Same category and criteria)

Widespread and found in areas with relatively little habitat transformation. It is therefore considered Least Concern.

Distribution

Endemic to Namibia, western Botswana and northwestern South Africa (Broadley 1990, Broadley and Wallach 2009). Within South Africa it occurs only in the Northern Cape Province (Bates et al. 2014). Although not commonly encountered, it is likely to be more widespread than current South African records suggest because the Northern Cape has not been comprehensively surveyed.
