Distribution

Occurs in southern Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. In South Africa it is found in the Northern and Western Cape provinces, extending into the western Free State and western half of the Eastern Cape provinces (Bates et al. 2014). It is not known whether the introduced population in the Kommetjie region in Cape Town still persists (Bates et al. 2014).
