Widespread, without known significant threats.

Distribution

Endemic to southern Africa. Found in Namibia, southwestern Botswana and western South Africa (Broadley 1990, Branch 1998). Within South Africa it occurs in the Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces (Bates et al. 2014). Some historical records (question marks on map shown in Bates et al. 2014) from the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and North-West provinces (mainly from Broadley 1990) require confirmation but are included in the current distribution.
