Rationale

Although this species has a small known distribution (extent of occurrence = 834 km2) there are currently no known threats. It is therefore listed as Least Concern.

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of Kliprand at the southern edge of Little Namaqualand, Northern Cape Province, South Africa (Heinike et al. 2017)

Although this species has only recently been described (Heinike et al. 2017), the population is inferred to be stable given the general lack of threats in the region in which it occurs.
