Assessed as Least Concern because this species has a relatively large distribution and is not being impacted by any major threatening process. 

Distribution

Endemic to the western parts of the Western Cape Province, South Africa, occurring from Vanrhysdorp in the North to Worcester in the South and also stretching East along the Langeberg to Ladismith, with additional records further east in the Little and Great Karoo (Heinicke et al. 2017).
