This species has been found at only two sites within 5 km of each other. It is not known if this represents its actual range, or if it might be more widespread. It is therefore considered Data Deficient.

Distribution

To date, this species has been found only between Abel Erasmus Pass and Bourke’s Luck on the Eastern Escarpment of Limpopo Province, South Africa (Jacobsen et al. 2014). These sites are just 5 km apart, so it is impossible to determine this species' actual distribution.
