Red List of South African Species

Alternatively, Explore species
Least Concern (LC)

Rationale

Although only a few isolated subpopulations are known, they occur in relatively inhospitable mountainous terrain and no major threats are known. The isolated Matlala subpopulation may represent a different species and is not considered for this assessment. The species is therefore assessed as Least Concern.

Distribution

Occurs as isolated subpopulations on the Soutpansberg and Blouberg and Matlala inselberg (this latter subpopulation may represent a different species and is not included in the assessment), Limpopo Province, South Africa.
