A range-restricted endemic taxon from the Cape Peninsula in the Western Cape Province, South Africa (EOO 106 km<sup>2</sup>). There are four locations in a well-protected and managed area. There are no threats. The taxon thus qualifies globally under the IUCN criteria as Least Concern and is listed nationally as Rare (Restricted Range).

Endemic to the Western Cape Province in South Africa, restricted to the Cape Peninsula.

Although this taxon occurs entirely within the Table Mountain National Park, there are four locations that would be separately affected by a threatening event. Subpopulations are found in the Kalk Bay, Muizenberg, Lakeside, Chapman's Peak, Constantia, Table Mountain and Camps Bay areas.

Threats

No current threats, although only one specimen was seen in 2016. Low numbers are possibly due to the current drought.

Conservation

No conservation actions are recommended. The taxon’s subpopulations all fall within the Table Mountain National Park.
