Distribution

Endemic to southwestern southern Africa, including western portions of the Western and Northern Cape provinces of South Africa, and a single locality (Skerpionkop) in the Lüderitz district, Namibia (Bates et al. 2014). In South Africa it ranges from the Ceres district to the northern Richtersveld, with inland populations as far east as the Roggeveldberg and Hantamsberg mountains.
