Distribution

Endemic to South Africa where it occurs in the provinces of Free State, Northern Cape, Western Cape and western half of the Eastern Cape (Bates et al. 2014). Recently found as far south as Blaauwberg Conservation Area in Cape Town (http://www.hardaker.co.za/r-maricothicktoedgecko1.htm).
