Is widespread and common across the Cape Fold Mountains, South Africa and appears to be tolerant of some anthropogenic disturbance. It is therefore assessed as Least Concern.

Distribution

Endemic to South Africa where it is found in the central Cape Fold Mountains of the Western and Eastern Cape provinces, from the Swartberg south through the Little Karoo to the Langeberg and Outeniqua mountains (Bates et al. 2014).

There are no major threats to this species.
