Distribution

Endemic to southern Africa, occurring in eastern and southern parts of South Africa, Eswatini [Swaziland] and extreme southern Mozambique (Bates et al. 2014). Within South Africa it occurs in southeastern Mpumalanga Province, most of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape provinces, as well as parts of the Western Cape and the southern margin of the Northern Cape provinces. Also found on St Croix Island in Algoa Bay.
