Distribution

Endemic to South Africa and largely restricted to the Western Cape Province, with a few records in the adjacent Northern Cape (Bates et al. 2014). Occurs from the Bokkeveldberg Mountains in the north through the Cedarberg, Kouebokkeveldberg and Skurweberge to Ceres, and to Piketberg in the west.
